Questions before you start

Can I offer messages without gift wrapping?

Yes. Product and cart gift messages are free and unlimited. You do not need a wrapping product.

Where will my customers see the gift options?

Add product and cart blocks in the theme editor. Cart drawers need the separate app embed and theme testing. Checkout widgets require Shopify Plus.

How is wrapping charged?

Link a Shopify wrapping variant. Its price is shown to the customer and wrapping is added as a separate cart item only when they select it.

Where do the messages go after checkout?

Product messages stay with their items; the cart message belongs to the whole order. You can read both in the app’s Orders page.
