Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of plainkits.com and any PlainKits app (each, an "App"), operated by Craftheon, LLC ("Craftheon," "we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using an App, or by using plainkits.com, you agree to these Terms.

Who Can Use PlainKits

PlainKits Apps are built for merchants operating a store on the Shopify platform. You must have the authority to install apps on the Shopify store you connect, and you're responsible for the actions taken under your store's account.

The Service

PlainKits is a collection of small, focused apps for Shopify merchants (for example, PlainKits Image Export). Each App is installed separately from the Shopify App Store and operates within your Shopify admin under the permissions you grant during installation. We may add, change, or discontinue individual Apps or features at any time; where reasonably possible, we'll give notice of changes that materially reduce an App's functionality.

Fees and Billing

Paid plans are billed and collected through Shopify's Billing API as part of your Shopify subscription — we do not directly process or store your payment card details. Prices, plan limits, and billing cycles are shown in-app and on the relevant App's pricing page. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from within the App or your Shopify admin; changes take effect per Shopify's standard billing cycle rules.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PlainKits only for lawful purposes and in a way that doesn't infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of, PlainKits by anyone else. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any App or the infrastructure behind it.

Your Data

Our Privacy Policy describes what data an App accesses and how it's used and stored. You retain ownership of your store data; we access only what a given App's granted scopes require to function.

Intellectual Property

PlainKits, the PlainKits name and logo, and each App's original content, features, and functionality are owned by Craftheon, LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the Apps as intended.

Third-Party Services

The Apps depend on Shopify's platform and APIs, and run on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Your use of Shopify itself is governed by Shopify's own terms, separate from these Terms. We aren't responsible for outages or changes originating from Shopify or Cloudflare that are outside our control.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that an App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with every store configuration.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Craftheon, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, PlainKits or any App.

Termination

You may stop using an App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access to an App if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the security or integrity of the service. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled after termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as PlainKits changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of an App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
